Strategy and action plan

Our engagement strategy sets out our intentions for ways in which we aim to involve our stakeholders and local population.

This strategy provides an overview of the direction of the CCG and provides a set of principles, developed with our community, which underpin the way we involve our patients, public and stakeholders in our work.

Engagement is a vital part of our goal to achieving our strategic initiatives and delivering the best health and wellbeing within the resources available.

We are recently refreshed our engagement principles as part of our engagement and communications strategy. It was important that we based these principles on what our community said was important to them. In 2019 we have produced a survey and went out to talk to key stakeholders, VCSE organisations and held public sessions. These conversations have been used to develop our new communications and engagement strategy. Read the report on your input into our engagement principles and strategy 2019-22.

We would like to thank all those who have helped develop the strategy; your input has been invaluable.

Our engagement work plan 2017-19

As part of our engagement work we created an engagement workplan, to ensure that we are doing what we have set out in our strategy.

As this is a working document, you can view the latest version of our engagement action plan 2017-19 and what we have achieved by clicking here.

Our engagement annual report

We now produce a separate engagement annual report to showcase our public involvement work and highlight key elements of work.

As part of our governance process, the engagement annual reports are presented to and approved by our Quality and Patient Experience Committee and noted by the Governing Body.
