Postponed CCG Governing Body meeting rescheduled for 8 March and relocated to Priory Street Centre

The NHS Vale of York Clinical Commissioning Group’s (CCG) March Governing Body meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday 8 March – after the extreme wintry weather led to its postponement.

The meeting was originally due to be held at 9.15am on Thursday 1 March at West Offices, Station Rise, York – but was postponed due to the heavy snowfall and extreme cold weather which has affected many parts of the Vale of York in recent days.

The Governing Body will now meet at the Priory Street Centre, 15 Priory Street, York at 9.30am on Thursday 8 March.

Questions from the members of the public that were submitted for the original meeting will be answered at the start of the rescheduled meeting.

The CCG’s Governing Body, which consists of local GPs and other healthcare professionals, is responsible for monitoring the performance and quality improvement of healthcare providers in the Vale of York area.

Keith Ramsay, Governing Body Lay Chair, said: “Due to the extreme wintry weather we took the decision to postpone the Governing Body meeting. We’re pleased to announce that the meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday 8 March and will take place at Priory Street Centre.

“We look forward to seeing many members of the public there as these meetings are an opportunity for them to learn about what’s going on in their local NHS and hear about how we’re improving care for patients.”
