CCG invites Vale of York community to Annual General Meeting

Patients and members of the public are invited to the CCG's second annual general meeting to hear an overview of the organisation performance in 2014-15 and receive an update on future plans.

Dr Mark Hayes, the CCG's Chief Clinical Officer said: “The future transformation of services will place patients at the centre of their own care and support and we want to create forward thinking, innovative solutions which will help to meet the challenges; and opportunities, that the new way of working gives us.

“Our aim is to improve outcomes for patients; and as we are fully committed to engaging with our local communities, we want to reflect on our work and share our plans with them.

“I encourage as many people from the Vale of York community to attend our AGM.”

The formal meeting, from 10-11.30am includes a presentation from members of the Governing Body which will reflect on the CCG’s progress as the lead commissioner for health services across the area.

The AGM will also look to the future, focusing on the CCG’s five year strategic plan and highlight some of the key initiatives the CCG will be implementing to further improve and develop local health services.

Any questions for the Governing Body at the AGM must be submitted in advance up to 5pm on Monday 31 August 2015 to contactus.valeofyorkccg@nhs.net meaning that members of the community that cannot make the meeting still have time to submit a question.
