CCG invites Vale of York community to Annual General Meeting

Patients and members of the public are invited to NHS Vale of York Clinical Commissioning Group's (CCG’s) third annual general meeting to hear an overview of the organisation’s performance in 2015-16.

The AGM will be held on Tuesday 27 September 2016 at 2pm at West Offices in York.

Keith Ramsay, the CCG’s Lay Chair, said: “The future transformation of services will place patients at the centre of their own care and support and we want to create forward thinking, innovative solutions which will help to meet the challenges; and opportunities, that the new way of working gives us.

“Our aim is to improve outcomes for patients; and as we are fully committed to engaging with our local communities, we want to reflect on our work and share our plans with them.

“I encourage as many people as possible from the Vale of York community to attend our AGM.”

The formal meeting will include a presentation from members of the Governing Body which will reflect on the CCG’s progress as the lead commissioner for health services across the area.

Any questions for the Governing Body at the AGM must be submitted in advance up to 5pm on Friday 23 September 2016 to events.valeofyorkccg@nhs.net meaning that members of the community that cannot make the meeting still have time and the opportunity to submit a question.

To confirm your attendance phone 01904 555 870 or email events.valeofyorkccg@nhs.net.
