Our Finance and Contracting Team won two awards at the January Healthcare Financial Management Association Yorkshire and Humber Awards.

Innovation Award – Community Equipment and Wheelchair Services Integrated Procurement
This project won because it demonstrated innovation that led to an improvement in the quality of a service in a financially efficient way. It focused on the finance team’s role in the project and recognised improved quality in the services delivered to patients efficiently and sustainably.
Close Partnering and Collaboration Award – Dermatology Primary Care Gain-Share Project
This award acknowledged the importance of clinical and financial collaboration and in particular it recognised four main areas of best practice.
Increasing the knowledge of financial management in non-finance staff
Finance staff knowledge of relevant clinical matters.
The building of effective relationships, encouraging leaders from clinical and finance teams to work collaboratively across professional boundaries.
The creation and facilitation of clinical and finance engagement to reduce waste and deliver high value care.
