The Maternity Services Liaison Committee (MSLC) works in partnership with local maternity services at York and service users to provide a forum, bringing together the providers and stakeholders involved in maternity care to take families views on local maternity services into account.
The aim of the MSLC is to ensure that maternity service commissioners, the Vale of York CCG and the local maternity services hear and take account of the views of women and families using the service.
If you have recently used maternity services in the last two years and would like to contribute and be involved, whether that is in person or virtually then please contact Debbie Winder, Head of Quality Assurance and Maternity on 01904 555397 or e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
‘It’s important we hear what women want and how we can develop our service to meet local needs and work towards national recommendations from the Better Births maternity services review 2016. Local women are encouraged to assist in shaping the delivery of maternity services to meet the needs of the local users’.
Survey for pregnant women, mums and partners
We are planning to update and improve our services to pregnant women and mums who need mental health support. In doing so it would be helpful to understand what a service should be like and would work best for women and their families.
This short questionnaire below will help us to gather valuable information and opinions, which will help to inform any future service development. We really value your contribution and are grateful for your time.
